Application Guidelines

Before applying please read the website carefully. Special attention should be paid to the Programme Summary and Programme Content, so that you are certain that this is the master programme for YOU!

Remember that you will be travelling to 4 different European countries over 2 years and may do fieldwork or an internship in a fifth. So, if you don’t like change, Choreomundus might NOT be for you!

The next step is to read the Admission Requirements carefully and prepare all documents for uploading although you may begin application procedures before you have all of these.

However, do pay special attention to the Deadline for application.

Once you have done the above, you are advised to read other items in the Menu before finally applying.

For any problems, please do not hesitate to contact the Coordinating Administrator or Convener at the following address:

Choreomundus students follow a course of studies in the four universities that comprise the Choreomundus consortium according to the following mobility path:

Semesters 1 and 2 (Autumn and Spring)

All students follow induction and a short intensive course in Clermont-Ferrand.

Students are then divided for the rest of the academic year into two groups.

During the rest of Semesters 1 and 2 the group of students live together in one place:

  • Group 1 lives in Trondheim, studies at NTNU.
  • Group 2 lives in Szeged, studies at SZTE.

Summer between Semesters 2 and 3

Students carry out fieldwork in a location of their choice.

Important: students can not undertake fieldwork in their home country and/or country of residence.

Semester 3 (Autumn)

All students live in Clermont-Ferrand, study at UCA.

Semester 4 (Spring)

All students live in London, study at UR.

Choreomundus is an integrated joint European programme, promoted and taylor-made by the four partner universities . All four institutions, therefore, take full responsibility for the whole programme and not just the section they deliver.

Choreomundus welcomes students with different national and academic backgrounds. With emphasis on fieldwork and empirically based research, Choreomundus aims at helping the students to produce high quality research on their subject of interest related to dance and movement.
